BASF Updates Its Grow Smart Advantage Tool

88

BASF Agricultural Solutions has updated their Grow Smart Advantage tool to reflect 2023 competitor rebates and BASF performance values, enabling growers, channel partners, and crop consultants to secure greater ROI at harvest.

One thing that is top-of-mind for growers right now is finding the best return on their acre – especially during a time when they’re managing fluctuating prices alongside supply issues. The Grow Smart Advantage tool helps growers keep pace with the market by offering a platform that recommends crop protection inputs based on their farming operation. This information helps maximize their yields in the most profitable way and better prepares them for their Q2 purchases.

The tool is now equipped with the latest information to help farmers estimate their ROI by comparing the estimated performance results and dollar value of BASF products versus competitive products and rebates. These competitor comparisons now include Corteva, Bayer and Syngenta.

“We developed Grow Smart Advantage to put our farmers first to help them through the decision-making process when it comes to crop inputs and ensure they are getting the best return on the acre,” said Kashif Ahmed, Senior Marketing Manager at BASF.

Grow Smart Advantage is ideal for retailers to use with farmers to quantify the benefits of a lower-use rate, flexible application windows, crop safety and other factors that can cost money beyond the price of the product.

“Our goal with this tool is to give growers and retailers sound agronomic recommendations in an accessible, easy-to-use way,” says Nick Fassler, Technical Service Director for BASF Agricultural Solutions. “This tool gives them the framework to make informed, ROI-based decision so they can work toward that return rather than just input costs to help increase yield in the most profitable, efficient way.”
