Canadian Tractor, Combine Sales Down In June, Up Substantially For The Year


According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s monthly “Flash Report,” the sale of all tractors in Canada during June were up 33% compared to the same month last year.

For the six months in 2021, a total of 16,126 tractors were sold which compares to 11,831 sold thru June 2020 representing an 36% increase for the year.

In June, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 13% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were up 16%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 70%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 33%.

Combine sales were down 21% for the month. Sales of combines for six months totaled 569, an increase of 20% over the same period in 2020.
