
According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s monthly “Flash Report,” the sale of all tractors in Canada during February were up 61% compared to the same month last year.
For the second month in 2021, a total of 3,304 tractors were sold which compares to 2,232 sold thru February 2020 representing an 48% increase for the year.
In February, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were up 82% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were up 18%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 58%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 58%.
Combine sales were up 23% for the month. Sales of combines for two months totaled 123, an increase of 38% over the same period in 2020.
