CLAAS of America announces that the American Farmer program will focus on the company and its innovative equipment technologies in an upcoming episode as part of its series on agriculture and farming. The program will be produced in the coming months and air on RFD-TV in the fall of 2018.
The American Farmer profile will explore the technology innovations that CLAAS has introduced in the North American market to help drive greater efficiency and productivity on the farm. In addition to telling the CLAAS story, the show’s producers will showcase the company’s long line of innovative equipment, including LEXION combines, self-propelled JAGUAR forage harvesters, XERION and AXION tractors and its balers and hay tools.
“CLAAS is a global leader in agricultural manufacturing, with a clear emphasis on high-end harvesting solutions. We aren’t an ‘everything to everybody’ full-line manufacturer and we are more than a short liner,” explained CLAAS of America President and General Manager – Sales, Eric Raby.
“We carry a long line of grain, hay and forage harvesting equipment, and tractors that are more efficient, provide higher throughput and greater value than standard equipment offerings of other manufacturers,” said Raby.
CLAAS is the fourth largest agricultural equipment company in the world. In business for more than a century with global headquarters in Harsewinkel, Germany, the family-owned company has manufacturing operations in 11 different countries including the United States. The North American headquarters is located in Omaha, Nebraska, and is also the site of the LEXION combine assembly plant – the newest and most modern combine factory in North America.
“These products are designed by a dedicated engineering staff at many different worldwide factories that are solely and specifically focused on the production and design of their portion of the equipment portfolio,” said Jennifer Tierney, senior producer for the American Farmer series. “We look forward to exploring this technology on the show.”
