
According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s monthly “Flash Report,” the sale of all tractors during March 2023, in the U.S. were down 12% from the same month last year.
In March, a total of 21,586 tractors were sold which compares to 24,546 sold in 2022.
For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 14% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 12%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 6%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 106%.
For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 20% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP are down 11%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are up 5%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are up 51%.
Combine sales in March totaled 509 up 47% from last year. Year to date sales of combines in 2023 total 1,514, an increase of 102% from the same period in 2022.
