McFarlane Introduces New 51′ Incite Model

McFarlane is introducing a new model to their line-up of Incite Universal Tillage Tools today at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY. The IC-5151 offers a working width of 51’3″ along with all the features of the existing Incite models.

The Incite, the first Universal Tillage machine creates the unique ability to perform in a wide range of conditions, Spring or Fall, by providing features and adjustability that can’t be found anywhere else. “The demand for the Incite has exceeded all of our expectations,” states Stan McFarlane. “Achieving the optimum seedbed has never been easier or faster.”

The new model has all the features found on the current ones as well as larger cylinders and hinge pins, maintenance free tandems and synchronized wing folding. The Incizor blades are manufactured by Ingersoll but are exclusive to McFarlane. The 28 wave concave blades made from Ingersoll’s proprietary Boron Alloy Steel are designed to be versatile enough for both high speed operation at shallow depths or up to 6″ for more traditional disc work.

Available in working widths from 14′ to 51′, the Incite is loaded with innovative, user-friendly design features such as on-the-go hydraulic adjustment of disc gang angles up 9 degrees. The 7-blade, 18″ diameter open center Dura-Reel offers hydraulic height adjustment from the same depth as the disc blades to 8″ above. Finishing options include both 3 and 5 bar harrows along with single and double rolling baskets.

“The Incite offers solutions to growers looking to accomplish more with a single pass and options for reducing the number of tools needed in the shed,” adds Norm Burgeson, Sales Manager at McFarlane.

“Immediately upon introduction, we had many requests from larger operations to add a model with a working width of up to 50 feet. This new model represents a couple of years of design work and field testing to satisfy a market need.”
