
According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s monthly “Flash Report,” the sale of all tractors during May, 2022 in Canada were down 11% from the same month last year.
In May, a total of 3,074 tractors were sold which compares to 3,467 sold in 2021.
For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 18% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were up 3%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 22%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 3%.
For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 11% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP are down 3%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are up 5%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are down 9%.
Combine sales in May totaled 78–down 28% from last year. Year to date sales of combines in 2022 total 357, a decrease of 28% over the same period in 2021.
