
According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s monthly “Flash Report,” the sale of all tractors during July in the U.S. were even compared to the same month last year.
For the seven months in 2021, a total of 195,245 tractors were sold which compares to 171,742 sold thru July 2020 representing a 14% increase year to date.
For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 4% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were even. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 38%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 79%.
For the seven months, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are up 12% over last year, while 40 & under 100 HP are up 15%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are up 25%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are up 38%.
Combine sales were up 19% for the month. Sales of combines for the seven months totaled 2,932 an increase of 13% over the same period in 2020.
