
According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s monthly “Flash Report,” the sale of all tractors during October in the U.S. were up 5% compared to the same month last year.
For the ten months in 2021, a total of 275,424 tractors were sold which compares to 247,344 sold thru October 2020 representing a 11% increase year to date.
For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were up 5% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were up 4%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 10%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were down 6%.
For the ten months, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are up 10% over last year, while 40 & under 100 HP are up 12%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are up 23%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are up 20%.
Combine sales were up 73% for the month. Sales of combines for the ten months totaled 5,370 an increase of 24% over the same period in 2020.
