
According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s monthly “Flash Report,” the sale of all tractors in the U.S. in 2020, were up 33% in June compared to 2019.
For the year, a total of 142,266 tractors were sold which compares to 128,787 sold in 2019.
For the month of June, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were up 37% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were up28%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 4%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were down 34%.
For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were up 13% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were up 7%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are up 11%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are down 12%.
Combine sales were up 37% for the month. Sales of combines for the year totaled 2,061 compared to 2,096 in 2019, an 2% decrease.
